And Now.....

LYNAM

On August 23, 2024, Lynam brought the house down at Iron City in Birmingham, AL, proving once again why they are a staple in the Southern rock scene. The night was a wild ride of high-energy performances, razor-sharp guitar solos, and powerful vocals that left the crowd buzzing long after the final chord.

The set kicked off with the explosive "Tanis," immediately setting the tone for the night. The band's chemistry was palpable, with lead singer Jacob Bunton commanding the stage with his signature swagger and charisma. His voice was in top form, effortlessly hitting every note while the crowd sang along to every word.

One of the highlights of the evening was "Save My Soul," a track that has become synonymous with the band's name. The audience erupted as the first few notes played, with hands raised and voices joining in unison. The performance was electric, with Bunton’s gritty vocals soaring over the band's tight instrumentation, creating a moment that felt almost transcendent.

The band did hit a brief snag when Jacob’s amp unexpectedly cut out mid-song, throwing a wrench into their momentum. However, the crew quickly rerouted the amp, and the band took it in stride, joking with the crowd and turning the mishap into a memorable moment. It was a testament to their professionalism and experience, honed over 20 years since Lynam first graced the Birmingham stage. This homecoming show felt like a celebration of their journey, with the band and fans alike reveling in the nostalgia and energy of the night.

The night ended on a high note with "Slave to the Machine," a fan-favorite that had the entire venue rocking. The blistering guitar work, thundering drums, and Bunton's powerhouse vocals combined for a finale that was nothing short of epic.

Overall, Lynam's performance at Iron City was a masterclass in rock and roll. The band delivered a show that was both technically impressive and emotionally charged, leaving no doubt that they are still at the top of their game. For fans of hard-hitting, unapologetic rock, this was a night to remember.
