Jackyl Bring the Lumber to Minglewood Hall

Jackyl and guest Roxy Blue, delivered a excellant performance at Minglewood Hall in Memphis on November 3rd, 2024.

Roxy Blue is made up of Todd Poole - Vocals, Josh Weil – bass, Scott "Scotty T." Tramwell – drums, and Jeff Caughron – guitar (formerly Every Mother's Nightmare). They returned to the stage and delivered a great set of classics songs and got the crowd pumped and ready for Jackyl!

Jackyl hit the stage and Blast Off started the evening of guitars and raw sound that the band is known for. Jessie Dupree strutted the stage like a early morning rooster surveying his coop. The band featuring Jeff Worley on Guitar, brother Chris Worley on drums, and highly energetic Roman Glick on bass. They rocked and rolled the crowd with a set that included many fan favorites such as My Moonshine Kicks Your Cocaine's Ass, Down on Me, they also included a few covers in the set, which fit right in with everyone in attendance.

The band ripped through We're an American band, A Country boy can survive, and with a few more Jackyl classics I stand Alone, When will it Rain, and Down on Me filled out an impressive 14 song set. Near the end Jesse did a solo version of Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley, which was an incredible version by the way. The crowd enjoyed it very much, as it was just Jesse on guitar and vocals.

Overall the show was a reminder of how hard Jackyl rocks n rolls as they move across this land for the remaining dates. If you get a chance to see them, Go, great show by one of the great bands of the 80's! Hope you enjoy a few more shots from the show!
